We are pleased to offer custom order services to bring your unique visions to life.

Due to the bespoke nature of these creations, custom works are priced differently from our standard offerings to account for the additional time, materials, and collaborative design process involved.
Additionally, for clients seeking exclusive rights to a design for their own business purposes, we offer tailored exclusivity agreements. These agreements ensure that the design remains unique to you, including detailed terms on pricing, usage rights, and intellectual property. Custom Work Pricing

Commissioned custom work is priced differently from finished work available in our e-shop. Custom work involves a personalized design process that includes:

 

  • Initial consultation and design briefing

  • Unique design creation based on client specifications.

  • Additional time and resources dedicated to ensuring the custom piece meets the client’s expectations.

  • Due to these factors, custom pieces require more time, effort, and materials, which is reflected in the pricing.

 

Consultation and Design Process

After placing a custom order, a consultation will be arranged to discuss the client's requirements in detail. This includes:

 

  • Providing a brief: to specify dimensions, colors, patterns, themes, and any other relevant details. Clients may also provide reference images or sketches to better illustrate their ideas.

  • Artwork proposal: Upon receiving the brief and within 14 business days we will create and share the proposed artwork design.

  • Consultation Rounds: you are entitled to two rounds of consultation to discuss and refine the proposed artwork. During each consultation round, you can request modifications or adjustments to the design. Each consultation round will be completed within 7 business days from the date of receiving your feedback.

 

Approval and Finalization

Once the custom design is completed, the client will be provided with photographs for approval.

Any minor adjustments requested by the client will be accommodated if feasible. Significant changes may incur additional costs and extend the timeline.

 

Pricing and Payment

A quote will be provided based on the complexity and requirements of the custom design.

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to commence work on the custom order. The remaining balance is due upon finalization and approval of the design.

Any changes to the design after the initial agreement may incur additional costs.

 

Timeline

The timeline for completion of custom orders will be discussed and agreed upon during the initial consultation.

 While every effort will be made to meet the agreed timeline, delays may occur due to the intricate nature of custom work. Clients will be kept informed of any changes.

 

Returns and Exchanges

Custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable due to the personalized nature of the work.

In the event of damage during shipping, please contact us immediately with photographs of the damage to discuss possible resolutions.

 

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs will be calculated based on the final weight and dimensions of the custom piece. Shipping costs are not included in the pricing of each item. Clients will be provided with tracking information once the order is shipped.

 

Intellectual Property

All custom designs created remain the intellectual property of DANAE CERAMICS. We reserve the right to use images of custom pieces for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

EXCLUSIVITY

Ordering an exclusive custom piece means that the custom design will not be reproduced or sold to others. Exclusivity pricing differs from standard custom order pricing.

Clients with exclusive rights to a ceramic design agree not to reproduce the illustration or the ceramic design in any other form. This includes, but is not limited to, digital reproductions, printed materials, and any other physical or electronic forms. The exclusive rights pertain solely to the physical ceramic piece(s) created by DANAE CERAMICS. 

 

Pricing for Exclusivity

An additional fee will be charged for granting exclusivity rights. This fee compensates for the potential loss of revenue from not being able to reproduce and sell the design to other clients.

 

Duration of Exclusivity

The exclusivity agreement can be set for a specific duration (e.g., one year, five years) or can be permanent, depending on the agreement between DANAE CERAMICS and the client. Renewal of exclusivity can be negotiated upon the expiration of the initial term if applicable.

 

Intellectual Property

DANAE CERAMICS will retain copyright over the design. The client does not have any right to use the design commercially nor owns the intellectual property.
