Glazed Earthenware Terracotta - Porcelain Slip

This large hand-built ceramic pitcher is crafted from traditional terracotta clay with a porcelain slip finish. Inspired by illustrations from illuminated manuscripts and traditional embroidery, it features intricate designes created using the sgraffito technique, where precision leaves no room for error. Oxide pigments are used to produce the colours  and are applied before the first of the two firings in the kiln.
