This porcelain slipped ceramic vase is hand built and illustrated by hand with the sgraffito method. Painted with traditional oxides, the illustration is inspired by symbolism and the tarot.
The Star tarot card symbolizes hope, inspiration, and spiritual guidance. It represents a sense of renewal, healing, and clarity, offering reassurance that things will improve. The card suggests a connection to the divine, inner peace, and the realization of dreams, often indicating a period of calm after turbulence and the light that guides one toward a positive future. 
At the center of the design is the eye, a powerful symbol found in many cultures and alchemical traditions. The eye represents perception, wisdom, and protection, often seen as a safeguard against harm or the “evil eye.” In alchemy, the eye also symbolizes the “inner vision” required for spiritual enlightenment and the ability to see beyond the material world into the realm of transformation.
